Solacoat Water-Based Heat Abating Marine Topcoat is a premium, high opacity acrylic paint finish originally designed for moderating temperature extremes on exterior metal surfaces that are exposed to harsh coastal marine conditions.
It’s tough, flexible finish gives long-lasting protection against UV weathering. It has an excellent resistance to mould & fungi growth and has an excellent adhesion, flow and quick drying (same day recoat) properities.
Solacoat Marine Topcoat may also be used on normal exterior surfaces. The actual sheen level is a soft gloss appearance due to the modification for marine sites.

Areas of Application
Solacoat Marine Topcoat is eminently suitable for coating primed external metal surfaces, that are located in high salt air coastal environments, and where control of temperature extremes is paramount.
Approximate coverage
Covers approximately 8 -14 square metres per litre depending on the surface porosity
Drying Times
Approximate drying times at 25C and 50% Relative Humidity.
Touch Dries: 30 minutes
Recoat: Minimum 2 hours.
Drying Times may be extended by adverse drying conditions or incorrectly applying a very high film build.
