Solacoat Pavement Coatings

Coolshield recognised that when outdoor pavement tiles get wet they become extremely slippery.

In major resorts around the world, walkway tiles become wet either from rain or from water being splashed around poolside areas. As a result these resorts have had damaging lawsuits as a direct result of guests slipping over and injuring themselves within these resort areas.  In response, Coolshield has launched a range of Solacoat heat reflective & non-slip waterproof pavement coatings.  

It is also well known that such pavement tiles get very hot in the summer or in hot zones.

Coolshield can produce pavement coatings in any colour except Red.  Cream can provide a very high TSR upwards of 76%.  It can all done in one coat pre-mixed however for waterproofing you will need to add is 10% off white local cement for waterproofing.

Heat Reflective and Non-slip Waterproof Pavement Coatings is a new technology, water-based coating specifically designed to give a hard wearing, non-slip and waterproof surface, with miniumal heat absorption for pedestrian walk areas.  

There is the option of an additional clear sealer which can be used for light vehicle traffice areas and parking lots.  If the surface consists of concrete blocks then a primer will be needed to fill gaps before coating.  With a minimum of 10 Years Performance Warranty is available.  For more information click here.
